Do you (or the agency) vet the adopting owners in some way? Local

lab rescue here says they'll visit your house before hand to make sure it's dog-ready. In the case of labs, maybe make sure they can handle an active dog that needs a lot of exercise, compared to some other breeds that don't. Maybe they favor 'busy' households where the dog would get lots of attention, compared to one where owner is at work all day.
